Share your list

Updated August 20, 2026

A public list has its own link, its own card, and its own QR code.

Every public list has a page of its own. Anyone with the link can open it — no sign-in needed.

What's on a list page

At the top: the list's name, its description, and who made it — profile picture and name, linking to their profile. A list is somebody's recommendation, and it doesn't mean much without the somebody.

Below that the events run down the page. Gathin events open on Gathin; external ones open on their source site in a new tab, with that site's address on the card.

Sharing it

Share list opens a share box holding:

  • A ready-made message and the link — copy it, paste it wherever.
  • The list's card — an image built from the covers of the events in it, carrying the list's name and you. You can copy that image too.
  • A QR code — for a screen or a poster.
  • WhatsApp, X, and the other share links.

Paste the link into a chat or a social post and that same card comes along as the preview.

Private lists

If the list is private there's no share button; you get "Make the list public to share it" instead. Better than sharing a link nobody can open.

Change visibility from Edit list in the list's menu.
