Moderate a venue's events
Updated August 20, 2026
The Events page in the venue panel lists every event linked to your venue. The rows are the same ones you see in a community panel: cover, title, date, and the community running it.
Next to the community's name, after a dot, is the event's state:
- Showing — listed on the venue's public page.
- Removed — not listed.
Anything waiting for approval is here too. The Show removed events switch brings back what you've taken down before.
Two different actions
The … menu at the end of each row holds two actions, and they are not the same thing.
Remove from venue
Takes the event off your venue's page only. The event stays published on its own page and in its community; it just stops showing here. Restore in the same menu puts it back — this one goes both ways.
You can add a reason if you like; the note stays in your records.
Unlink completely
This clears the venue from the event's own record. In other words, you're editing someone else's event: the organizer will find the venue field empty next time they open settings.
If you only want it off this page, use Remove from venue. Save unlinking for "this shouldn't have been here at all — the wrong venue was picked".
Approving one by one
When Events show up right away is off in the Moderation tab, events linked to your venue stay hidden until you approve them. They wait in this list; Restore publishes them.
Linking your own event to a venue you manage skips the queue — your own event at your own venue shows straight away.
