Streaks
Updated October 16, 2026
A streak counts how many of a community's streak events in a row a member has come to. The community's admins choose which events count. Miss a counted event and your streak resets.
What counts
What grows a streak is having your ticket checked in at the door, not registering. Register for a streak event and don't turn up, and your streak doesn't grow; if that event starts and ends without you being checked in, your streak breaks.
Registering still matters: if you have a streak and aren't registered yet for the next streak event, your streak shows as At risk. Being registered for a later streak event doesn't change that; what matters is the nearest one.
An event several communities host together counts only toward the host community's streak.
What you see as a member
Events that count carry a Streak badge with a flame on their cards.
If a community you belong to has streaks on, a Your streak card sits at the top of the side column on its page:
- Your current streak (say, "3 in a row") and your Best.
- Your status: Keep it going., a warning if you aren't registered for the next streak event, or how to start again if your streak ended.
- Next streak event: its name, its date, and You’re registered or Not registered yet.
A streak event's own page shows your streak too, and tells you what to do: Join this event to start a streak, Keep your streak, or, once you're registered, something like "Check in at the door to make it 4 in a row."
After your ticket is checked in at the door, the page says You’re checked in and a short +1 pops up beside your streak. The celebration plays once per increase: you see it on whichever you open first, the event page or the community page.
Only you see your streak; it isn't shown to other members.
Which plans have it
Streaks come with the Pro and Premium plans. On the free plan the Streaks page opens, but streaks are locked; the button on the page lets you upgrade. If the plan ends, streaks stop showing.
For more on plans, see Plans overview.
Turning streaks on
In the admin panel, go to Streaks in the Community part of the left menu. On a phone, open the menu with the menu button in the top bar.
While streaks are off, the page says Turn on streaks; press Turn on streaks. After that you switch them on and off with the Streaks on switch at the top right of the page.
Turning streaks off deletes nothing. While they're off, everyone's streak is frozen where it was; the page says Streaks are paused, and when you press Resume streaks everyone carries on from where they stopped.
Choosing which events count
With streaks on, the page has two tabs: Members and Streak events.
The Streak events tab is the only place you choose whether an event counts; there's no such option in the event form or the event settings.
- Every upcoming event of the community (drafts included) has a switch beside it. Turn it on and the event counts right away, with nothing else to save.
- The line at the top shows how many of the upcoming events count.
- A new event you create doesn't count; turn it on here if you want it to.
- Once an event starts, whether it counts can no longer change. Started events that counted are listed below under Started, locked.
- An event series itself never counts; each episode has its own row and its own switch.
Who keeps coming back
The Members tab shows every member's streak in a table: Member, Current, Best, Status and Last check-in.
- Search by name or username in the box at the top, and use the status menu to show only Active, At risk or Broken. The menu shows how many people are in each.
- The next streak event is shown above the table.
- Export CSV downloads the list.
While nobody has been checked in to a streak event yet, the tab says No streaks yet. If you haven't picked any streak events, Choose streak events takes you straight to the second tab.
The ? button beside the page's title walks you through the page step by step.
