Activity feed

The activity feed shows what's been happening in your community as one list in time order: who joined, who left, who signed up for an event, who wrote in a room.

In the admin panel you'll see the last few lines on your community's Overview; for the whole run, go to Activity feed in the left menu.

What you read

Each line is a sentence — "Ada Lovelace joined the community", "Ada Lovelace signed up for Backyard Bytes" — with how long ago it happened beside it. Hover the date for the exact moment.

It isn't there for the numbers, it's there for the rhythm. Whether your community is alive or has been quiet for two months — that's what it tells you at a glance.

Message contents aren't here

A "wrote in a room" line only says that somebody wrote; it doesn't say what. The messages themselves stay in their rooms.

That line also won't appear more than once per person per ten minutes. Otherwise one lively conversation would fill the whole feed on its own.

90 days

The feed keeps the last 90 days; anything older is deleted nightly. So it's a picture of the recent past, not a logbook.

Plan

The activity feed comes with Pro. If your plan doesn't include it the screen says so — but the records are already being kept, so your history will be waiting when you upgrade.
