Co-hosting and sponsors

You do not have to run an event alone. You can co-host it with another community, add brands as sponsors, and offer packages to anyone who wants to sponsor it.

Co-host with another community

In the event's admin panel, open Settings, switch to the Advanced tab and find the Collaborators section. Type another community's name in the search box and select it.

Collaborator communities appear on the event page as co-hosts. That community's admins run the event with you from their own panel: they open the overview, participants, approvals, schedule, speakers, gallery and visitor stats on the same screens you see, and can make changes there. They cannot see the event's earnings. Tickets, sponsorships, participant mailing, the post-event survey and the event settings stay with the community that created the event.

On the Free plan an event can have at most one co-host community; on Pro and Premium there is no limit. See plans overview for details.

Organizer vs collaborator

An organizer is a person who can manage the event. A collaborator is another community that runs the event together with you.

You manage organizers from the Organizers page in the Programme & lineup group of the event's admin panel. When you press Add organizer you do not search everyone; you get a list of the people who can be added. Only admins of this community, of a co-host community, or of the venue when the event is held at one can be added. Each row says which of these the person comes from, and you can narrow the list with the Search admins box. You can also remove an organizer at any time.

Add sponsors

In the event's admin panel, go to the Sponsorships page in the Promotion & outreach group. On the Sponsors tab, press Add Sponsor. You can pick one or more sponsors from your community's sponsor list, or create a new one with Create New.

For each sponsor you enter the Company Name, a Sponsor Logo, a Link and a Sponsorship Type. The sponsorship type marks that sponsor's tier: pick Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze, or choose Other and type your own name. Sponsors are featured on your event page.

Sponsorship packages

From the Offers tab on the same page, use Add Offer to create the sponsorship packages you offer. Each offer has an Offer Title, a Description and a Price in TRY. As with tickets, what the sponsor pays (VAT included) must be 0 or at least 20 ₺; if you type a lower price the form says so and Save stays off. If the package is limited, turn on Track Inventory and enter how many can be sold.

What would-be sponsors see

In the Sponsors section of the event page, a Become a Sponsor button appears when there are offers. Whoever presses it signs in first if they are not signed in, then lands on the event's sponsorship page. It lists the Sponsorship Offers: they pick a package, fill in a first name, last name, email and phone for each sponsor, and go to payment with Complete Purchase.

Community sponsor library

On the Community Sponsors page of the community admin panel, you keep a list of sponsors you can reuse across all of your events. When you press Add Sponsor you can create a brand-new sponsor, or bring in one you already added to one of your events with Use Event Sponsor. Sponsors are kept apart on the Active and Archived tabs.
