Language and theme
Updated August 3, 2026
You can use Gathin in six languages and choose between a light or dark look. You change both from the user menu at the top right.
Switching language
Open the user menu at the top right and go to the language row. Six options appear: English, Türkçe, Español, Deutsch, Italiano, Français. A checkmark shows next to the language you pick, and the page switches to it right away.
Where your language is kept
The language you pick is first kept on the device you are using, which means your browser. When you sign in, it is also written to your account. That way the same language greets you when you sign in from another device.
One thing worth knowing: if your account already has a saved language, it takes effect the moment you sign in and can override the choice on that device.
Light and dark theme
The same user menu has a theme control. Tap the sun and moon icon to switch between light and dark. There are only these two themes.
When you first open Gathin, it follows your device's system preference. If your system is set to light, it shows light, otherwise dark. Once you pick a theme yourself, your choice takes over.
Theme syncs to your account too
Like language, your theme preference is saved to your account when you sign in and comes back on your other devices. So you only have to choose once.
