Build a learning path
Updated August 5, 2026
A learning path ties several programs and badges together into an ordered set of steps — a journey a member works through, rather than a single item.
Create a path
On the Certification page, switch to the Paths tab and press New path. Give it a title and an optional description, then press Create. The path opens on its detail page with three tabs: Details, Steps, and Certificate.
Add and order steps
Open the Steps tab and press Add step. A picker opens with two tabs — Programs and Badges — listing everything in your community. Press Add next to each item you want; items already in the path are marked Added.
Back on the Steps tab, each step shows its position. Use the up and down arrows to reorder them, and the trash icon to remove one. Clicking a step opens that program or badge.
A certificate for the whole path
The Certificate tab lets you design one completion certificate for the path itself — for members who finish every step. Press Create template to open the same designer used for programs, or edit the existing one. It works exactly like a program's certificate: background, labels, QR, and save.
Paths are optional — they're most useful when you run a series that belongs together, like a multi-course track. If you only issue single certificates, you can skip them.
