Editing your profile

Your profile is the page that introduces you on Gathin. You can update your photo, your cover, and the short text about yourself any time.

Opening the edit screen

On your profile page, tap the "Edit Profile" button. The form that opens lets you change every field in one place. When you are done, just press "Save Changes" at the bottom.

There are two image areas at the top of the form:

• Cover: the wide top band. Tap the camera icon on it to pick a new image.
• Profile photo: the round avatar. Change it with the camera icon on it.

While an upload is running, the buttons stay inactive for a moment. They turn active again once the image is in place.

The About text

The "About" field is where you describe yourself in a few sentences. You can write what you do and what you are into here. If you leave it empty, it does not show on your profile.

Name, surname, and contact

The same form also lets you edit your name, surname, username, email, and phone. As you type a username, the system checks right away whether that name is available.

Social links

In the "Social links" section you can add links to your own profiles. These links are listed on your profile for others to see.

Don't forget to save

For your changes to stick, you need to press "Save Changes" at the bottom of the form. While it saves, the button briefly shows a "Saving" state, and then you are set.
