How you earn
Updated August 3, 2026
There are two ways to earn from your community on Gathin. One is the main way, the other supports it. Both add to your revenue, but they work differently.
Paid event tickets
This is the main one. When you put a paid ticket on an event and someone buys it, the money is collected through the platform and lands in your community's revenue balance. From there you withdraw it to your registered bank account.
This is where most of your steady earnings come from. A talk, a workshop, a party, training, whatever you run, once you put a ticket price on the door, revenue flows in this way.
Sponsors
The second source is sponsors. You bring companies on board to back your events and showcase them on your event pages.
Sponsor income reaches you the same way ticket income does: when a sponsorship is paid, it lands in your community's revenue balance, and you withdraw it like the rest of your earnings. You do not track it separately.
Which one fits you
- If you want revenue at the door, sell paid tickets. The money lands in your balance automatically.
- If you want a brand to help cover your event's cost, bring on a sponsor. Its payment lands in the same balance.
Most organizers use both: tickets set the base, sponsors add on top.
