Your ticket and QR check-in

When you join an event, you get a ticket. The ticket has a QR code on it, and at the door all you do is show it.

What your ticket looks like

After you register, your ticket lands in your account. It sits in the tickets section on the event page.

Every ticket carries:

• A QR code, the one that gets scanned at the door.
• A ticket number that identifies your ticket.
• The event name and the ticket type.

Tapping a ticket opens a larger view with the QR code. Opening it on your phone is enough, you do not need to print anything.

QR check-in at the door

On the day of the event, you open the QR code on your ticket. The organizer scans it with a scanner and lets you in.

Once the code is scanned, your ticket is marked as used. That means the same ticket cannot be used to enter a second time. It makes clear, for you and the organizer, that the ticket really was used.

Make sure your phone is charged and your screen is bright enough so the code scans smoothly.

Fast check-in at the venue

Some events have a QR poster at the entrance. If the event is free, scanning that poster with your phone registers you on the spot and your ticket appears on screen. If you do not have an account, one is created for you in seconds, with no queue to wait in.

For a paid event, this step sends you to the normal ticket flow, because payment is not taken at the door.
