Emails your event sends you
Updated September 16, 2026
While you're running an event you may want to follow it by email — or you may not. Those two preferences live on the event's Settings tab, in the notification section near the bottom.
Two digests
- New registration digest: once an hour, an email saying how many new registrations came in during that hour.
- New comment digest: once a day, a summary of new comments on the event. Admins' own comments don't count.
Both are digests. You don't get an email per registration or per comment; on an afternoon when a hundred people sign up, you get one email, not a hundred.
The preference is yours, not the event's
These settings are about you. Another admin on the same event picks their own; switching yours off doesn't stop their email.
They're also per event. You can turn the registration digest off on a busy event and leave it on for a quiet one.
Saved as you flip it
It saves the moment you flip the switch. You don't need to press the event's Save button — this isn't part of the event record, it's your own preference about that event.
You won't get a backlog when you turn one back on
While a digest is off, the "summarised up to here" mark keeps moving. So if you leave it off for two weeks and switch it back on, you don't get two weeks of accumulated registrations dumped on you at once. It starts summarising from the moment you turned it on.
