Community settings
Updated August 5, 2026
Community settings is where you shape how your community looks and how it works. The settings are split into a few tabs so you can find what you need quickly.
General
On the General tab you edit the information that makes up your community's identity:
- Logo and banner image
- Community name and username
- Short and detailed description
- City and category
These are the first things people see when they discover your community, so it helps to keep them current.
Social media
Here you add your Instagram, website, X, and LinkedIn links. The links you add show up on your community page, so members can follow you elsewhere too.
Payment details
On the Payment tab you enter the bank details where money from paid events is sent: account holder, IBAN, and account number.
These details are visible only to admins. For how payments work, see the Getting Paid section.
Advanced
The Advanced tab holds options to use carefully:
- Visibility: Make the community public or private.
- Transfer ownership: Hand the community over to another member. After this, your own admin access is removed.
- Delete community: Permanently delete the community. All events, members, and data are removed and cannot be recovered.
Saving your changes
When you change something, the save button becomes active. If you try to leave the page without saving, Gathin warns you, so your work is not lost.
