Your profile

When you pick a username, your profile becomes a public page that opens at /@username. It shows your event history on Gathin and the details that introduce you. You can share this address.

What your profile shows

At the top of your profile you will find:

• Your cover image and profile photo
• Your name and your @username handle
• Your "About" text
• Counts: Followers, Following, Events Joined, and Communities

If you have added social links, they also appear on your profile as small icons.

If your speaker page is linked to your account, a verified speaker badge appears next to your name. It isn't granted, it's earned: it stays as long as you have at least one talk — see claim your speaker page.

Tabs

In the body of your profile, your content is split into tabs:

• Events — the events you attended and the ones you spoke at, in one feed
• Saved Events — events you saved to look at later (only you see these)
• Lists — the collections you keep of events you are going to; visitors see the public ones (lists)
• Certificates — certificates you have earned, if any
• Badges — badges you have earned
• My Tickets — your tickets and QR codes (only you see these)
• Organized — events you have organized

The events feed

The Events tab is one feed: the events you hold a ticket for and the events you spoke at sit together. An event that is both shows once, not twice.

The filter menu above the feed switches between All, Active, and Past. If you have spoken at an event, a Talks filter appears too; if you haven't, that filter never shows.

An event you speak at reads "Speaking" or "Spoke" on its card — even if you also hold a ticket, because that is the more interesting of the two true things.

Tabs only appear when they have content. For example, if you do not have any certificates yet, the Certificates tab does not show up. Lists is always there on your own profile; on someone else's it shows only if they have a public list.

To the side of your profile you will also find the list of communities you are a member of.

Edit your profile

When you are on your own profile, you will see an Edit button. From there you can change:

• Your profile photo and cover image
• Your "About" text, a few sentences that describe you
• Your Instagram, X, and other social links

When you look at someone else's profile, you see a Follow button instead of this one.
