The community page
Updated October 16, 2026
Every community has a public page. Members and visitors alike get to know the community here: what it does, who runs it, and when its next event is.
The top of the page
At the top are the community's banner and logo. Below them come its name (with a badge beside it if it's on the Pro or Premium plan), its short description, and any social media links it has added.
The line right under that sums the community up in a few numbers: Organizers, Participant and Event counts, the number of supporters if it has any, and whether it is a Public or Private community.
- Press the Participant count to open the member list. Search by name in the box at the top, and filter the list to All, Organizers or Participants.
- Press the Organizers count to list only the people who run the community.
- Press the Event count and the page scrolls to the event list.
Joining a community
If you aren't a member, a Join Community button sits at the top. If you aren't signed in, you're sent to sign in first. Press it and a confirmation opens; confirm with Join Community.
- In a Public community you become a member straight away.
- In a Private community your request goes to the admins and waits for approval; the button stays as Request Sent. Until you're approved, the page shows only the community's banner, logo and description; you need to join before you can see its events.
Once you're a member, the Join Community button goes away. To leave, pick Leave Community from the … menu at the far right; if you change your mind in the confirmation, press Stay in community.
The other buttons along the top:
- Send a message: Opens a conversation with the community. See Messages.
- Support: Shown to members if the community has opened support. See Supporting a community.
- The share icon: Lets you share the community's link.
Events and the Community Wall
The body of the page has two tabs: Events and Community Wall.
The Events tab lists the community's upcoming events, with Past Events below them. Use the menu beside the tab's name to narrow the list to All Events, Active Events or Past Events. Active Events are the ones that haven't ended yet, including one happening right now. If the list is long, Show More appears at the bottom.
The Community Wall is where the community talks. More on it below.
The side column
Beside the events, the side column holds, in order:
- Your streak: Shown if the community has turned streaks on and you're a member. See Streaks.
- Organizers: The people who run the community. If there are more than three, View All opens the full list.
- Sponsors: Companies the community has added to its page. If there are many, View All shows them all.
- Support: The community's tiers or supporters, if it has opened support.
- About: The community's longer story. If it's long, Read more opens the whole text.
Sponsors and supporters are different things: the community adds its sponsors itself, while supporters are people paying the community out of their own pocket.
Posting on the wall
In a public community anyone can read the wall, but to post, like or comment you need to be a member. If you aren't signed in, or aren't a member, a note at the top of the wall tells you so.
As a member, you'll find a Share something with the community… box at the top of the wall:
- You can write up to 280 characters.
- Add up to 6 photos with Add photos (each under 10 MB) or one video with Add video (under 100 MB); not both.
- When you're ready, press Post.
Under every post are buttons to like, comment and share. Share makes a link straight to that post; whoever opens it is taken to that post on the wall.
You can remove your own post or comment at any time with Delete.
Reporting a post
For a post or comment you find inappropriate, press the flag icon (Report). You don't need to be a member, only signed in.
In the Report content window, pick a Reason: Spam, Harassment, Inappropriate, Misleading or Other. Add a note under Additional details (optional) if you like, and press Submit report. Your report goes to the community's admins.
If you're an admin
On your own community's page you see Manage instead of Join Community; it takes you to the community's admin panel. If the event list is empty, you can create your first event right from there.
On the wall you can do two more things with any post:
- Pin to top: The post moves to the top of the wall and shows a Pinned label. Unpin undoes it.
- Delete: Remove any post or comment.
Wall reports
Everything your members report collects in your admin panel, on the Wall reports page in the Community part of the left menu. On a phone, open the menu with the menu button in the top bar.
The page has three tabs: Open, Resolved and All. Each report shows who reported it, why and when, whether it's a Post or a Comment, the content itself, who posted it, and the reporter's note if there is one.
For an open report you have two choices:
- Remove content: The post or comment is deleted from the wall.
- Dismiss: The content stays on the wall and the report is closed.
Either way, the report leaves the Open tab and moves to Resolved. If the content is already gone, the report says "This content has already been removed."
In the app
In the app the community page has three tabs: Events, Wall and Details. The about text, organizers, sponsors, support and links live on the Details tab. To report a post, open the post's menu. Otherwise the wall and the wall reports page work as they do on the web.
