How you earn
Updated November 6, 2026
There are three ways to earn from your community on Gathin. Tickets are the main one, and the other two add to it. Each works a little differently.
Paid event tickets
This is the main one. When you put a paid ticket on an event and someone buys it, the money is collected through the platform and lands in your community's revenue balance. From there you withdraw it to your registered bank account.
Most of your steady earnings come from here. Talks, workshops, parties and trainings all earn this way once they have a ticket price.
Sponsors
The second source is sponsors. Companies back your events, and you show them on your event pages.
Sponsor income reaches you the same way ticket income does: when a sponsorship is paid, it lands in your community's revenue balance, and you withdraw it like the rest of your earnings. You don't track it separately. See Sponsors for details.
Community support
The third source is support. People back your community with money directly, once or every month or year, through tiers you name yourself. Support tiers are available on the Pro and Premium plans.
Support income is kept apart from ticket income. It has its own section on the Revenue page and is withdrawn with a separate request. Community support explains how to set it up.
Which one fits you
- If you want revenue at the door, sell paid tickets. The money lands in your balance automatically.
- If you want a brand to help cover your event's cost, bring on a sponsor. Its payment lands in the same balance.
- If you want the people who care about your community to back it regardless of any one event, open support tiers.
Most organizers combine them, with tickets as the base and sponsors and support on top.
You follow all of this on Your Revenue page.
